Festive Gingerbread Bliss Balls

The holiday season is upon us once again! And these Festive Gingerbread Bliss Balls make the perfect last-minute Christmas treats to gift to a loved one (or keep for yourself!).

These bliss balls may taste naughty but are 100% nice, so are sure to be on Santa's list this year, and should definitely be on yours!

Festive Gingerbread Bliss Balls - makes 12 balls

12 pitted dates

1 cup raw walnuts

1 Tablespoon molasses

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

A few grinds of salt to taste

70% cocoa dark chocolate to dip (optional, but yum! chocolate!)

Soak dates in enough hot water for 10 minutes to soften. Drain water from dates. Add all ingredients (except dark chocolate) to a food processor and pulse until combined and the mixture starts to come together in a sticky ball. Roll teaspoon amounts of the mixture into balls and dip into melted dark chocolate. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chilled (if you can wait that long!). Eat & enjoy!
