Hi guys! I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself and my new business Sanctuary Nutrition!
Born and bred in Cambridge, New Zealand, I have recently returned with my husband and dogs after spending the past five years studying Nutrition & Dietetics at Massey University in Auckland. As much as we loved the Auckland lifestyle with beaches on our door step, thousands of eateries to choose from and there always being an event on to check out, it was time for a fresh start and a new adventure.
I created Sanctuary Nutrition with the goal of sharing my nutritional knowledge as an NZ Registered Dietitian to improve the nutritional health of the people of my home town. I am passionate about the amazing healing power of food and how the diet can be manipulated to not only give you the energy and vibrance to live your best life, but to actually prevent and reduce the effects of disease!
I've created this blog as another way to share my nutrition knowledge and share some healthy recipe inspo - some quick and easy for busy weekday meals, some that are perfect for trying over the weekend when you have more time.
All posts will be short and sweet (honestly who has time to sit down and read a massive post these days?!!), and get straight to the point - no beating around the bush - so you can get the latest nutrition facts and findings in an easy to read format. New posts will be up every Monday evening for your reading pleasure.
